Scheduled Road Closure Notice
Barron Canyon Road – KM 34.5
Please be advised that a full road closure will be in effect on Barron Canyon Road at KM 34.5 beginning June 9, 2026, to allow for the replacement of a 6-foot culvert.
The closure is expected to remain in place for one day, after which traffic restrictions may be reduced to single-lane access for an additional day, subject to construction progress.
The work will be carried out by AFA. Motorists are asked to plan accordingly and exercise caution when travelling in the area.
Lake Travers Road – KM 43
AFA is tentatively scheduled to begin work on June 22, 2026, at KM 43 on Lake Travers Road for the installation of a new eco-passage bridge structure.
This project will involve the removal of existing culverts and installation of the new eco-passage/bridge crossing. The road may be closed for up to one week while construction is underway.
Project timing remains subject to confirmation of bridge delivery from the manufacturer. Additional updates will be provided once the schedule has been finalized.
