Please see attached letter and map regarding the upcoming MNR training in support of the 2025-2026 Moose Aerial Inventory (MAI) occurring this winter within applicable Wildlife Management Units (WMU) within Algonquin Territory.
There are only two seats available for AOO community members to participate in the training. MNR will confirm participation on a first come first serve basis. Please note that participating in the training does not guarantee participation in the surveys.
The consultation office has no role in the selection process. You must contact Maidie Gagnon, Resource Liaison Specialist, at maidie.gagnon@ontario.ca to discuss your community’s interest and possible arrangements in survey participation.
